MySQL Migration Toolkit is available under the MySQL AB "dual licensing" model. Under this model, users may choose to use MySQL products under the free software/opensource GNU General Public License (commonly known as the "GPL") or under a commercial license.

Support, training, and certification are also all available.

ATTENTION: Before installing the MySQL Migration Toolkit please download and install the Java 1.4.2 Runtime Environment (JRE) from http://java.sun.com

NOTICE: If you want to use the MySQL Migration Toolkit with Oracle please make sure to attach the Oracle JDBC driver (ojdbc14.jar) by selecting the main menu item [Tools] > [Attach JDBC Driver]. A typical location of that file on Windows would be 'C:\Oracle\ora92\jdbc\lib'.
